One of the world’s most stylish luxury shoe brands, Christian Louboutin, invited some of Singapore’s most elegant fashionistas to the recent launch of its new boutique at Scott Square where they were plied with cocktails and roses for Valentine’s Day, and of course got to check out all the new Spring Summer 2017 shoes too.
Singapore fashion celebrities like Nellie Lim, Tjin Lee and Yvette King were joined by other notable fans of the brand like Gilbert Cheah, Min-Li Tan, Serene Tan, Celeste Basapa, Judy Hunt, Michelle Eng, Rebecca Eu, Casling Tan, Alicia Loke, Dolly Cheong and Elaine Kim to see the new Christian Louboutin Scotts Square boutique and celebrate Valentine’s Day at the same time.
The cutest thing – apart from the mixologists and their molecular cocktails at the pop up bar – were the bespoke Louboutin love poems with guest names delicately scribed by an on-site calligrapher on Christian Louboutin notebooks. Love was in the air (at least for the shoes!)

One of Singapore’s most stylish fundraisers, Celeste Basapa – who is best known for being on the board of several organising committees, including the SSO Ladies’ League, the Kidz Horizon Appeal and the National Gallery Singapore — is totally channeling #ladyboss at the new Christian Louboutin store opening.
While she’s mostly known for her empowering community work, like the Love, Mei programme she started for trafficked women in Manila that helps with skills and and employment; Rebecca Eu is also super stylish. Rebecca was spotted at the Christian Louboutin boutique opening with Singapore’s number one Superstar fashion guru Tjin Lee, who’s just as motivated to create opportunities for empowering women with her various programmes and businesses.
