In this week’s fashion #glossip, Pedder on Scotts’ new spring shoe launches, Adriana Lima right here in Singapore and H&M’s see-now-buy-now collection you must shop
We get it – it’s tough keeping up with what’s hot right now in the fashion world. But if you want to know everything that’s hot right now in Singapore, you’re in the right place. This week, the spotlight’s on a Victoria’s Secret Angel on our shores, H&M’s catwalk-to-closet collection and the launch of Thom Browne men’s accessories at Dover Street Market.
Adriana Lima in Singapore
Yes, ladies and gents. Victoria’s Secret legend, Adriana Lima, is hitting our shores soon to launch the iconic Body by Victoria collection at the brand’s Mandarin Gallery store. The Brazilian stunner will sign autographs for customers, from 6pm to 8pm. Be there early, as long queues are expected, though we hear the VIP line is open to customers with qualifying purchases*. You might want to nab the new collection before her appearance – the lineup includes the sultry Demi bra and three new styles, including the Flutter Bralette, Unlined Demi and Triangle Underwire Bralette.
Victoria’s Secret, Mandarin Gallery, #01-01 Mandarin Gallery, 333A Orchard Rd, Singapore 238897. *To access the VIP line, customers have to spend $129 in a single receipt in the Mandarin Gallery store from 8-10 March.
Thom Browne accessories now available at Dover Street Market
Confession: We can’t get enough of multi-label concept store Dover Street Market, and the store hasn’t even opened its physical doors yet (its Dempsey location is slated for an opening in July). Next on our shopping list for the boys are men’s accessories by American designer Thom Browne – these include passport holders, money clip wallets and single card holders – made with silver pebble-grain leather and adorned with the label’s signature stripes.
Shop Thom Browne accessories now at Dover Street Market.

Athleisure more your thing? Shop Athletic Propulsion Labs’ freshest colourways for the techloom phantom knit styles, or update your workout wardrobe with new releases from Stella McCartney. Fashion-forward gents aren’t forgotten either, with new brands including Harry’s of London. We hear that Rihanna’s newest Puma x Fenty collection will launch on March 9 – we’ll be first in line for those furry slides.

H&M Studio’s See-Now-Buy-Now collection is now available in Singapore
In a headlining move at Paris Fashion Week, H&M joined the see-now-buy-now shopping concept that’s taking off around the world. Top models like Gigi and Bella Hadid, Jordan Barett and Luis Borges strutted down the runway in looks ranging from feminine ruffles and voluminous silk dresses to strappy trekking sandals and headbands. At the show, an interactive pop-up shop allowed customers to simultaneously shop the collection online. But don’t fret if you missed it – the collection is now available at H&M’s Orchard Building.
H&M, 1 Grange Road, ION Orchard, Singapore 239693.
