This picnic party at Singapore Botanic Gardens in July will have its own food booths, party games, live music and morning yoga
Feel like upping your lazy weekend brunch game? We’re giving you the low-down on an even sloth-ier food fest you can be a part of – imagine being in touch with nature as you lounge away at a lovely garden picnic, while indulging in French Viennoiseries and amazing desserts. Intrigued? Then head down to Tiong Bahru Bakery’s first-ever picnic party!

No self-preparation is necessary – this famous bakery is offering three different picnic bucket sets up for pre-orders (starting from $50), which naturally include their well-loved pastries, sandwiches, juices and more. Each bucket also contains picnic mats, fans and a helium balloon – can you say chipmunk voices?
Not satisfied, still? Bringing you grub from other popular cafés, this food Utopia of a festival will feature pop-up stalls from Common Man Coffee Roasters, gluten-free nosh from Open Door Policy and many other gastronomic delights.
Weird Wonderful World will also be hosting old-school games like Connect 4 and Giant Twister, engaging workshops and live music. And for those who want to shed a pound or two before binging, you can even head to Botanic Gardens earlier for a morning yoga sesh! It’s a weird, wonderful world alright, but everyone’s invited!
Weird Wonderful World, 8-9 July, yoga & fitness activities 9am–11am, picnic & other activities 3.30pm-8pm, Singapore Botanic Gardens. For more information, visit their event site.
