Verve Arts Festival is back this year with the new theme, ‘WYD? – What’s Your Dream?’, in short, WYD? The theme prompts us and audiences alike to reflect on our dreams and take a pause in the hustle and bustle of our productive society, to ask ourselves the very question that fuels and drives us in the first place. WYD? will feature 10 multidisciplinary arts programmes this year, ranging from exhibitions, workshops, and performances, each offering a unique experience, providing attendees with a platform to reflect and find motivation to pursue their dreams!
Launched in 2011, Verve is a non-profit student-led multidisciplinary arts festival organised annually by Second Year Arts Business Management (ABM) students from the School of Humanities & Interdisciplinary Sciences, Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Verve 2024 would witness the 14th edition this year, seeking to be a platform for the local arts and artists to foster socially engaged art making that promotes positive change in our community. Verve also aims to celebrate inclusivity and develop capabilities through multidisciplinary and creative ways, evoking perception in our audience through an impactful experience at the festival.
