Many of us turn to music as a way to cope with stress and low moods. How does music influence our grief experience? Is there such a thing as a good or bad choice of music for someone who is grieving?
As part of the Tapestries of Grief festival, this workshop facilitated by a music therapist will help participants understand how music selection affects the grieving process, and answer questions like: “Should we listen happy music when we are grieving?” or “Is there such thing as good or bad music for a person who is grieving?”
Tapestries of Grief is organised by Grief Matters, a movement by Montfort Care, and is a collaborative effort with 20 healthcare organisations and social service agencies. The festival is held in conjunction with the 2021 Grief and Bereavement Conference organised by Singapore Hospice Council.
