As part of the Festival’s theme of “Passion & Compassion”, the IGNITE! About IGNITE! Music Festival
Organised annually since 2008, the IGNITE! Music Festival gathers audiences of about 30,000 annually. The only music festival of this scale organised by a Polytechnic, it aims to encourage youth volunteerism through the themes of passion and compassion.
Wholly student-run, IGNITE! also allows students to demonstrate their capabilities in event management, production, marketing, theatrical theatre, artiste liaison, as well as project management while providing a key platform for local independent bands to showcase their music.
