Singapore Poetry on the Sidewalks (S.P.O.T.S.) is a public art project bringing Singapore literature straight to the heartlands.
Excerpts of Sing Lit poetry are inscribed along the pavilions of Waterway Point with hydrophobic paint, revealed only when touched by water. Each excerpt is curated to shed light on the origins of Punggol and the history of the land.
Take a stroll along the path and look for little clues as to where the excerpts are hidden. Venture out on a rainy day, engage in water play or perform a rain dance to bring forth a downpour.
Bring your family down for a ‘live’ 3-D chalk drawing activity! Join artist Imran Mohamed Ishak, to colour in the artwork inspired by the poems written in English, Malay, Chinese, and Tamil.
