For the seventh consecutive year, Runninghour is organising Run for Inclusion 2021, the national running event where participants run alongside runners with special needs, including the hearing, intellectually, physically and visually-challenged. This year, the event will be held at the 124-hectare grounds of event partner Singapore Turf Club, Singapore’s only horse racing club that also offers unique experiences to members and visitors.
The event seeks to promote the integration of Persons with Special Needs (PWSN) and empower them to participate in mainstream activities in a bid to nurture an inclusive society to PWSN.
Run for Inclusion 2021, the largest inclusive running event in Singapore, will comprise of cycle, run and walk categories from 0km to 20km. Participants can choose to attend either the physical or virtual event. Following the tradition of the previous years’ runs, Runninghour will also offer complimentary entries to all PWSN for the event.
In light of the pandemic, all participants are required to be vaccinated in order to join the physical event. Participants will be required to show a valid vaccination certification on the event day. Unvaccinated individuals are encouraged to sign up for the virtual event. Runninghour would like to assure participants that safe management measures and guidelines administered by the government will be adhered to at all times during the physical event.
Virtual Edition:
Participants will be required to upload a proof of their attempted distance and race upon completion of their race to Just Run Lah’s website.
