New year, new career goals and aspirations? This January 2025, the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) invites Professionals, Managers and Executives (PMEs) and youths to Learn, Connect and Grow their careers at the inaugural NTUC Career Festival.
The festival will offer a variety of activities that enhance the development of both individuals and companies, empowering them to collaborate with NTUC in career planning, career progression and career prospecting, as well as in business transformation, while fostering sustainable and purposeful career paths and organisational growth.
Festival highlights include a Career Launchpad, an interactive journey through themed zones designed to inspire, empower, and equip participants with tools, insights and opportunities to support them at every step of their career journey. Participants can also look forward to a skills and training marketplace, a recruitment fair, thematic presentations, panel discussions led by industry experts and thought leaders, as well as booths on personal branding, employment toolkits, a mentorship ecosystem to expand their professional network, and more. Additionally, there are opportunities to network with over 70 employers across various industries to gain insights into company cultures that fuel their professional growth. Whether they are youths entering their first job, mid-career or mature professionals, there is something for everyone!
The festival isn’t just for individuals – employers can also have a rewarding experience. It will offer practical solutions for business transformation, job redesign and workforce upskilling through the NTUC Company Training Committee (CTC) and CTC Grant. Business leaders will also share insights on current and emerging topics such as artificial intelligence, organisational development, and more.
