Chowk Productions presents LIMBO: Few Last Words, an original work of dance and theatre conceptualized and directed by Argentinian director Guillermo Angelilli and choreographed by Raka Maitra.
Under Angelelli and Maitra’s direction, Chowk’s dancers bring their training in Odissi to create a groundbreaking intercultural dance-theatre work that is stylistically and gender non-conforming. The production animates Miller and Elliot’s texts with choreographic and clowning performance techniques developed in Singapore, India and Argentina. In between moral paradigms, social roles and class lines; Last Few Words embodies Miller’s exploration of the modern consciousness in the Asian context through Chowk’s unique movement idiom.
