Guitars will fill the stage this June school holidays! The Guitar Festival at the Library 2026 brings two days of world-class performances, storytelling, hands-on learning, and a community celebration of the classical guitar — held at 100 Victoria Street, Singapore 188064.
Day 1 (Sat 13 Jun, 11am–6pm) features a masterclass and recital by acclaimed US guitarist Dr. Stephen Mattingly (Chair of the Guitar Foundation of America), a family-friendly music and storytelling session with Jennifer Leong, and a 90-minute showcase by the Toa Payoh Guitar Club — Singapore’s oldest community guitar orchestra, established in 1974.
Day 2 (Sun 14 Jun, 2pm–7pm) hosts the 3rd Singapore Guitar Marathon — a 5-hour continuous showcase of local soloists and ensembles — alongside 11 exhibition booths showcasing luthiers, vintage guitars, and educators. All events are free and open to the public. Perfect for families, music students, and enthusiasts!
