Self-care is a growing area of healthcare for women, although it has been practised by women for centuries. It has started to be incorporated to health systems from before the COVID-19 pandemic, but interest has been spurred on by the pandemic’s effects on both physical and mental healthcare delivery and accessibility.
Moderated by TV and radio presenter, Daniel Martin, the upcoming webinar will discuss the different ways women are practising self-care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn the perspectives of three women from varied backgrounds and experiences:
– Dr. Marlene Lee, Clinical Psychologist and former Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)/ Doctors Without Borders Field Worker
– Yeo Miu Ean, President of Women Empowered for Work and Mothering (WEWAM) and Board Member of the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO)
– Farisha Ishak, Singer-Songwriter and Public Figure
Join us on Tuesday, 9th March at 7pm!
*This event is supported by the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO).
