CRANEUM, the in-house horror feature at Crane is back for its second year!
This time we’ve got an expansive route that marries the grotesque with the quirky!
Spread over the full Saturday – Sunday weekend on 30 and 31 Oct 2021, this edition of CRANEUM is well tailored to fit social distancing restrictions!
On Saturday 30th October feast your eyes and senses on our spine tingling plans for you…
All activity listed below begins in NIDO
TALES FROM THE CREEP
Listen to stories lifted from justchillinghorror.blogspot.com read to you by some truly bizzare folks.
Guess the true story (or false, depending on our Fearcilitator’s mood on that day) and win a prize!
A story teller awaits in our dark room, with some mood swings. We dare you to NOT turn on the lights.
(Heron, main area of NIDO)
FOE TOE BOOTH
Get your pictures taken by hobbyist photographer Zach Lim. Will your polaroid photo come with ‘something else?’. Separate charges apply!
THE OTHER SIGHT
Works by Asyraf Said. Original paintings and works of a dark abstract nature will be displayed!
And our highlight for this year’s edition
HEIGHT & SICK!
In the dark recesses of the Herencia, what lies within?
Formerly Nan Chiau Girls’ School in the 1940s, this brutalist building survived World War 2 and still stands today in one of Singapore’s most historic areas.
The whole point of social distancing is to avoid direct human interaction as much as possible…right?
Thus the idea of HEIGHT & SICK, a hybrid of treasure hunt and…well…hide and seek!
At the end of the NIDO programme, all participants have to follow a little trail around The Herencia, answer a number of riddles and win a prize!
The catch however is having to navigate some difficult corners of the building, and possibly needing to speak (reluctantly) to some characters.
What are you looking for?
And is it looking for you?
The event will also conclude with THE UNLUCKY DRAW.
Everyone has a chance to win a prize.
The catch…we define what is a “prize”.
You may be elated or perhaps you may be tickled pink!
