The Arts Weekend Civic District is happening every last weekend of the month, and there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained.
For starters, you can learn all about Vietnamese culture at the Asian Civilisations Museum’s Saturdays@ACM: Pho-nomenal Vietnam, or check out how The Arts House has evolved over the years at Standing Through Time – The Arts House from the 1800s, an exhibition showcasing Singapore’s history, people and events through maps, paintings and photographs. Feeling artsy? Tabletop City at the National Gallery Singapore allows you to create miniature buildings using recycled materials with the whole family. Music aficionados, look out for the Music@Empress by the National Arts Council – an evening of live music performances in the heritage surrounds of the Civic District, or join Novo Winds at the Esplanade for a concert featuring nostalgic tunes from Abba Gold, Do-Re-Mi, Beauty and the Beast and more.
Don’t forget to cap off your night with iLight Marina Bay, where you can bask in stunning light art displays around the iconic bay area.
