Kiwi Cooler by Urbana
This refreshing cocktail requires just four ingredients: gin, honey, a kiwi (hello, vitamin C) and Cointreau. First, cut the kiwi in chunks and smash it, and then add it to the cocktail shaker alongside the aforementioned ingredients. Shake vigorously and pour the mixture into a glass of ice.
Lavender Espresso Martini by Lumo
Get your dose of caffeine with this fun martini. Add equal parts of vodka and espresso (45ml), 15ml of lavender liqueur or syrup, and 10ml of simple syrup into the shaker. Give it a good shake and strain the concoction into a chilled glass. Feeling extra? Garnish the drink with coffee beans.
Blond Mojito by Level33
DIY one of Level33’s popular drinks at home. Enter the Blond Mojito. To get the iconic pink gradient, mix two chopped hulled strawberries and one tablespoon of black sugar in the blender, followed by a mint leaf and another tablespoon of black sugar. Pro tip: Smack the mint leaf with your fist to release its heady aroma. For the final act, add crushed ice and 90ml of Level33 Blond Lager (which can be ordered directly from the restaurant) or any other lager beer. To make it pretty for the ‘gram, top the drink with a slice of strawberry and a sprig of mint.
Aloha Express by Bitters and Love
This needs a little prep work but it’ll be worth it. Combine 250ml of gin and two slices of pineapple with dried hibiscus, and let the mixture soak overnight before refrigerating it. That’s all! Have it on the rocks or add tonic or soda water for a twist on the classic G&T.
Yuzu Whiskey Sour by Jigger and Pony
This rendition of whiskey sour has a zingy punch to it, thanks to the yuzu marmalade, which can be bought online (‘cos circuit breaker) at Korean marts. Combine two teaspoons of said marmalade with 45ml of bourbon, 20ml of egg white and lemon juice, and 5ml of elderflower liqueur into a shaker. After joggling it, strain the mixture into a glass and garnish with a sprig of thyme.
Mizuwari by Live Twice
We’re not too sure when we can dive into the eclectic ambience of Live Twice again, but we sure can (try to) replicate the potent Mizuwari. The cocktail recipe simply consists of whiskey and water but the magic lies in the preparation. Using the maewari method, it combines equal parts whiskey and soft water in a ceramic vessel before letting it sit for at least three days. What do you get? A smooth and heady drink!
Gin & Tonic at Park Hotel Farrer Park’s alfresco bar
Hydrate yourself with the classic G&T. Park Hotel Farrer Park’s recipe from its alfresco bar adds fresh lime juice and cucumber to the cocktail. Muddle three slices of cucumber with freshly squeezed lime (15ml) in a cocktail shaker, and then add 30ml of the star spirit aka The Botanist Gin (feel free to use other brands too) and whirl it around. Prepare your serving glass with ice cubes and pour the gin mixture into it before adding tonic to taste. Garnish with a slice of cucumber or a wedge of lime if you’re looking for a citrusy kick.
Classic Old Fashioned by The Old Man
Master the classic Old Fashioned with The Old Man’s recipe. Pour in 60ml of your preferred whisky and 5ml of simple syrup, add four dashes of angostura bitters and two dashes of orange bitters into a mixing glass, and stir for 10 seconds. Then, strain the mixture into a rock glass that contains a cube of ice. For the finishing touches: Zest with orange peel.
