The famed fashion concept store from London, plus other international restaurants and bars will make their local debut in the Dempsey neighbourhood next year
The Dempsey cluster – specifically Blocks 17 and 18 – will be redeveloped into a new and exciting concept called COMO Dempsey. Amidst its ranks? Dover Street Market, the famed multi-label fashion concept store developed by renowned designer Rei Kawakubo in 2004.
Fashionistas, take note: if its stores in London, New York, Tokyo, and Beijing are anything to go by, the local outpost of Dover Street Market will be a veritable mecca of cult designer labels like Comme des Garçons, Ann Demeulemeester, Maison Margiela, and Sacai.
But that’s not all: apropos to Dempsey’s thriving food scene, the COMO Dempsey cluster will also feature new dining concepts such as COMO Cuisine, a specially conceptualised Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant and bar, and local Peranakan restaurant Candlenut by Chef Malcolm Lee.
The word’s still out on the official opening date of COMO Dempsey. Stay tuned.
