1. Immerse yourself in a festive village

The Changi Festive Village returns for more holiday fun. Pop by Terminal 3 to visit Pandora at Avatar: The Way of Water-inspired Marui Pod. You can snap pics with the life-sized replicas, shop at the pop-up, and watch light, sound and projection shows after sunset. For a little nostalgic fun, head to the basement for the T3 Underground Carnival. You’ll get to challenge your best buds to game booths, try go-kart racing and hop on rides.
Jewel’s Canopy Park will also transform into a glowing ocean complete with sea creature projections, as well as hourly snowfalls each evening. At the Shiseido Forest Valley, the 16m-tall Christmas tree gets an underwater makeover this year, featuring an oceanic tunnel, underwater visuals and more. Plus, the glamping experience at Jewel returns for family-friendly fun!

2. Enter a circus playground of fun

We’re psyched for The Great Bay Fiesta, which will take over the Bayfront Event Space for an entire month. Round up the fam and head over to check out The Great Cirque de Cascades, The Great World Carnival, The Great Food Fiesta and Ice Magic: The Great Fantasy on Ice. Step into the Big Top and you’ll be dazzled by Around The World in 80 Minutes, a stunning circus act featuring motorbikers, aerial performers and more.
At the carnival by Uncle Ringo, you’ll enjoy classic rides and an experiential inflatable playland. Next, get transported to a winter wonderland at the biggest pop-up winter-themed attraction in town. Build your own snowman, make snow angels and slide down the snow slope, or try sports like ice bowling, ice curling and ice skating. Keep an eye out for Chocolate Origin’s pop-up cafe too! Finally, fuel up at the food fair with brands from Thailand alongside yakiniku, Italian and dessert stalls.

3. Make merry at Universal Studios Singapore
For a joyous year-end celebration, head to the theme park and luxuriate in all the festive feels. You’ll be enjoying meet-and-greets, getting an adrenaline rush on the rides, watching live circus acts and merry parades, and snapping pics at themed photo booths.
Don’t miss out on Santa’s Circus Extravaganza, featuring spectacular performers, sensational acts and a magical snowfall experience (from 30 Nov). You can also meet Gingy the Gingerbread Man from Shrek and chat with him at the bakery. Plus, catch performances by Santa and friends, and say hi to characters from Minions, Trolls, Kung Fu Panda and Shrek. Finally, head over to the Jolly Game Booths for carnival challenges that come with cool prizes.

4. DIY your own wreath

If you’ve always wanted to take a shot at doing a DIY Christmas wreath, this is your chance. The session provides all materials – including fresh pine – but you’re encouraged to bring decorations to embellish your work of art. You’ll learn all the techniques of twisting the pine into shape and beautifying it for a gorgeous table or wall statement piece.

5. Soak up festive vibes at Capitol Singapore and Chijmes

Head over to Capitol Singapore for plenty of holiday cheer. Browse through the European-themed Capitol Kempinski Christmas market to shop for gifts from more than 50 merchants across the month. And don’t miss out on the Singing Tree that comes alive with carollers from Voices of Singapore and Emerge Arts & Media Academy. For Insta-worthy moments, stay for the snowfall experiences before you chill out to live music performances.
At Chijmes, the iconic facade gets a makeover with festive light projection shows. There’ll also be snowfall fun, Christmas carollers at The Lawn, and live string acoustic performances. No reason to be a Grinch here!

6. Sway to ukulele tunes
Get into the Christmas mood with musician Daniel Purnomo, who will strum classic faves and new tunes on his ukulele. Feel free to bring your own ukulele (or instruments like guitars, violins, and harmonicas) as there’ll be a festive jamming session for everyone to join in at the end of the event.

7. Experience the magic of Christmas Wonderland

Singapore’s biggest Christmas event returns for more whimsical magic at Gardens by the Bay. Be prepared for six festive zones perfect for a night out with family or a hangout with friends with all the yuletide cheer. Be mesmerised by this year’s light display in an all-new design, take photos with Santa, dine on Christmas-themed treats, or try your hand at carnival games.
Plus, there’s the “snow” experience, the double-storey carousel, and the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show. What we’re really excited about is the Spalliera – an intricately hand-crafted installation by Italian artisans. Make sure your phones are all juiced up because there are plenty of Instagrammable spots like the Poinsettia Castle, and Gingerbread House!
Of course, we’re not forgetting about the elf-fresco situation with the food fair at Christmas Wonderland. Brewerkz, Burger & Lobster, Hendrick’s, Pita Tree, and more will be there to serve up bites and tipples to keep you going through the whole night. Sip on drinks while you’re serenaded by local artists, and that’s your Christmas event night sorted.

8. Snag gifts at a festive pop-up
It’s the season of shopping! Starting ticking items off your gift list at Creative For More’s pop-up event. Brands displaying their wares include Jhoou Studio, Scent Concept, Hume Project, Blossom Wonder and Awfully Subpar. You’ll find everything from scented goodies to handcrafted trinkets to preserved floral blooms in the selection. Best of all, entry is free!

10. Have a green Christmas at this sustainable market
Christmas is probably one of the happiest times of the year. But admittedly, it can also be one of the most wasteful months. We’re not here to dampen anyone’s Christmas spirit. But if you’re looking to go green this year, check out the Sustainable Christmas Market! This is the first ever certified carbon neutral Christmas Market in Singapore, dedicated to help us celebrate in a more conscious manner.
This multi-faceted event has environmentally-minded workshops. This includes making your own sustainable Christmas wreath or mini Christmas tree for both children and adults. There’ll also be a pre-loved bazaar where you can pick up some pre-owned goods to give them a forever home. And you can munch on sustainably farmed food with vegan options!

11. Shop your heart out at the European Christmas Fair
Want Christmas market vibes without getting on a plane? Check out this shopping fair for gingerbread nibbles and sips of mulled wine as you browse through the selection of products from Europe.

12. Go on a Christmas shopping spree for ceramic crafts
Singapore Clay Festival’s first standalone market is a stunning exhibition of ceramics. Expect to see over 120 Singapore-based creatives present their works of art across more than 60 tables. You’ll get a chance to meet the potters and sign up for studio workshops, too. This is your sign to start shopping early for Christmas gifts!
