Can’t think of what to have for lunch or dinner? You can’t go wrong with Thai food; picture an oversized tray of piping-hot tom yum soup, packed with noodles, seafood, eggs and other ingredients
Take a break from the mookata restaurants and give this new Thai eatery a try. We’re giving you the deets to this new hotspot to cure all your Thai nosh cravings, especially if your appetite’s always hot for the tangy, sharp spiciness of tom yum soup. Not scared off yet? Good.
Opened in April 2017, Thai Super Bowl has a casual and spacious atmosphere, serving authentic Thai dishes, appetisers, desserts and drinks. Sounds like any other Thai restaurant, right? Wrong.
What excites us is their Signature Thai Super Bowl ($36) that caters to a group of four or six. It’s served in an intimidatingly large, rectangular hotpot bursting with fresh seafood and other ingredients, all immersed in spicy, milky tom yum broth. Expect mussels, prawns, squids, crab meat and even noodles for your carb fix! If you’re thinking of bringing a date (though this might not be the best date idea if spice makes you sweat) this hot pot comes in a smaller serving too – the Super Seafood Bowl ($18.90) that feeds two.
Still got room for dessert? Finish off your meal with Thailand’s famous mango sticky rice at only $4.50.
