You know we like to celebrate and support the movers, thinkers and innovators here at Honeycombers – Singapore is, after all, one seriously thriving business hub and it’s an exciting time to create, build and expand your startup in this city. Would you believe 10 years ago we launched from our founder’s kitchen table and now we’re a leading independent publisher in Singapore and have expanded to Hong Kong and Bali along the way? It’s only natural that our next networking event is about inspiration and expert advice for all the budding entrepreneurs and startups ready for the next stage of success: and we’ve teamed up with the EDB and amazing industry partners to boost your network and know-how. It’s all happening at WeWork 8 Cross St on 24 April, so save the date for our panel talk and curated networking sessions. This is a free event, so register stat as places are limited – and as always, we’ll have a spread of fantastic food and welcome drinks.
First up, know that our partner for this event is Singapore’s Economic Development Board: the government body that undertakes investment promotion and industry development for the manufacturing and internationally tradable services sectors. The EDB helps transform business operations, boost productivity and grow new business out of Singapore. This is your night to gain free, essential advice on joining Singapore’s business community, build genuine business connections and gain invaluable insights.
We’ve brought together four speakers who have founded and are growing successful businesses in Singapore and abroad, across the fields of technology, co-working, company incorporation and recruitment: Adrien Barthel of Sleek, Adrian Tan of WeWork Southeast Asia, Sam Baxendale of Salt, and James Nicol of Myriad. You’ll have the chance to ask them your own burning questions during the panel talk and at our speed networking sessions during the event, alongside experts from UOB Bank, The Entertainer, and RSM, who can provide advice on essential business services such as auditing, tax and business registration. Plus, Honeycombers will be part of the mix to provide insights on the digital media space! But more on that in a moment…
