Lazy Sundays not your thing? Amp up your Sunday routine with this bayside brunch featuring fresh seafood, pasta, cheeses and meats
We’ve all been there – waking up just a little too late to catch that Sunday brunch we’ve been waiting the whole week for. But not to worry, ‘cos we’ve just caught wind of the longest brunch in town. For our new brunch to munch, Monti has revealed a new Festino brunch that kicks off at 12pm, and will keep the good vibes flowing past 9pm.
This brunch by the bay will feature only the freshest seafood, including Fine de Claire oysters and tuna tataki, as well as a live carving station with roast leg of lamb, roast rib eye, and baked salmon fillet. True to its Italian roots, these dishes will be complemented with a choice of homemade pastas straight from the kitchen like tagliatelle with wild mushrooms, seafood fregola and more.
But no brunch affair is complete without eggs, so make sure to check out the live eggs station. If you’re a fan of fromage, make a beeline for the live risotto station showcasing Monti’s famed truffle risotto made in front of guests in a Parmesan cheese wheel.
Like we’ve mentioned, the Sunday frivolities don’t end here. This decadent bayside brunch is followed by a rooftop day-party, complete with DJs spinning smooth house tunes until 7pm. And if that’s not reason enough to check it out,, rounding off the festivities at 9pm is the Jazz At Monti crew that will take over with weekly J@M sessions featuring various jazz artists joining the regular lineup. So you’ve got good food, great music, and a stunning view of the bay – how’s that for a Sunday-funday soiree?
