Watch six of Singapore's finest bartenders vie for the title of Bacardi Legacy Singapore Champion in the third edition of this prestigious competition
Hold on to your hats – we’re about to find out who the best bartender in Singapore really is, thanks to the Bacardi Legacy cocktail competition. Need proof of this competition’s prestige? The finalists of previous editions include the likes of Bannie Kang of Anti:dote (who’s on the panel of judges this year), Stuart Danker of Sugarhall, as well as Bread Street Kitchen’s Adonis Reyes – all distinguished bartenders who’ve since made a name for themselves.
After going through a harrowing semi-finals, only six bartenders remain in the third edition of the Bacardi Legacy cocktail competition – Wonho Jang “Uno” (Orgo Bar and Restaurant), Syafiq Rahim (28 Hong Kong Street), Davide Boncimino (The Other Room), Brendan Khoo (Crackerjack), Jonathan Lee (The Tippling Club), and Cedric Allen Mendoza (Manhattan Bar) will be vying for the title of Bacardi Legacy Singapore Champion. The stakes are high, as the winner will go on to represent Singapore on the global stage at Berlin in May.
Putting the finalists’ techniques, creativity and showmanship to the test are a panel of highly acclaimed industry judges that include Luke Whearty (Owner, Operation Dagger), Richard Irwin (AMEA BACARDí Brand Ambassador), and Bannie Kang.
The finals will be held at Clarke Quay on 28 March. Want to get in on the action? You’re in luck, because this edition of the competition is the first time it’ll be open to the public! Stay tuned for more information.
