Singapore’s favourite inflatable park is back, and it ain’t just for the littles!
If you, like us, have always been obsessed with bouncy castles, you’ll love Art-Zoo: a giant inflatable park at The Float @ Marina Bay. Part of i Light Marina Bay , the annual affair is a visual adventure for the young and young-at-heart.
This year, the park returns with 15 attractions with a handful of new ones. Inspired by childhood fascinations, they’re a great way for kids to learn about plants, animals and even mythical creatures. One of our favourites is the Flamingo. Resembling an oversized pool float, this one guarantees you hours of fun.
And then there’s the Bubbly Bear Bath, which is filled with 150,000 balls. It’s the only one in the entire park, so be prepared for this to be swarmed with kids.
The star of the show is the massive Magical Rainbow attraction, with a larger-than-life unicorn at its heart. It’s the only ride in the park to offer tall slides for all. Want proof of its size? It’s 19 metres tall – that’s as tall as four and a half stacked double decker buses. Unfortunately, this was closed at the time of the media preview, and it was the number one thing we were dying to try.
It’s priced at $18, so think of it as cost-per-bounce if you tire easily (like us) and if you don’t have little ones in tow. But it’s a great way to blitz calories, vent your angst and bounce like you’ve never bounced before. But more than just a bouncy playground, think of Art-Zoo as a large-scale creative installation: your entrance is a ticket to #supportinglocal as the park’s installations were designed by Singaporean artist, Jackson Tan.
Art-Zoo, 9 March to 1 April, open 5pm-10pm on weekdays and 3pm-10pm on weekends, eve of/and public holidays and school holidays
