It’s official: A Tiki takeover is happening on Amoy Street. Aloha Poke is now Singapore’s only Tiki Bar a night – think kitschy umbrella-topped cocktails and Hawaiian party classics like Kalua Pig Burrito.
Surf’s up, CBD bees! Have we got a treat for you – a new hidden bar has arrived in Amoy Street, and we’re insanely psyched. If you love authentic poke bowls, chances are you’ve popped into Aloha Poke for lunch. But the fun doesn’t have to stop there; from 5.30pm every day until Saturday, the Hawaiian lunch hideout transforms into a Tiki bar with rum-fuelled drinks and palmetto printed walls.
Served in proudly kitschy coconut cups and ceramic Tiki mugs, signature cocktails here include the lime, lemongrass and vanilla laced Fiery Passion as well as White Crest, a charred coconut meringue topped drink made with three rum types. Flaming cocktails not your thing? The menu also features craft beers from Hawaii’s well-known Kona Brewing Company like Big Wave Golden Ale and Hanalei IPA.If you’re feeling peckish, bar bites include Lomi Lomi Salmon with avocado and onsen egg as well as air-fried Aloha Wings served with a secret sauce.
Aloha Poke Tiki Bar opens Monday to Saturdays, from 530pm, at 92 Amoy Street, Singapore 069911
