Indoor spin class
If you think that peddling your feet on a stationary bike for about an hour sounds like a breeze, you are highly, highly mistaken, friends. Ride is an intense, fast-paced, high-energy indoor cycling class that will push you to your limits for a stronger, fitter, and healthier you. From the studio’s fun disco ball lighting, their encouraging instructors, and their kick-ass playlists, there really is never a dull moment at Ride. Look out for their themed rides, where instructors blast out 90s songs, boyband hits, and even K-Pop so fans of all genres can get lost in the beat to their favourite tunes. Youtube sensation Keith Thompson of KTX Fitness even guest taught a handful of sold out classes here – can’t wait to see what’s in store for Ride next.

Pole dancing is an incredible full body workout that is sensual, graceful, and surprisingly athletic. You have to have some serious muscle to pull this type of workout off properly! Climbing up that pole alone requires tremendous upper body strength, and trust us, your body will be sore for days on after your first class. Plus points include improved flexibility, boosted confidence, and increased strength. HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)
HIIT or High-Intensity Interval Training classes have gained massive traction in recent years – truth is, this type of workout is brutal, but you do see results fairly quickly. This type of circuit training is structured with bursts of intense workouts filled with burpees, lunges and cardio with short rest periods. It’s no walk in the park, but if you can make your friends join you, at least you’ll have a partner to gripe with.

One of the latest fitness trends to hit the Big Durian, Krav Maga came about from a self-defense system developed for the Israel Defense Forces – talk about intense! This extreme workout has roots in boxing, aikido, judo, and wrestling and will boost cardio, strength and your survival skills. Now that will get anyone’s heart pumping.
