These two restaurants by Ismaya Group are giving you a chance to win a trip to Japan and China. But first, you’ve got to pass the test by eating your way through some tough food challenges.
Have you always wanted to experience waking up in a luxe hotel with a beautiful view of Fuji-san or dreamt of taking your significant other on a cruise along Huangpu River while admiring the glamorous landscape of Shanghai by night? Well, you’re in luck (if you dare). Sushi Groove and Fook Yew are giving away a pair of return tickets to Japan and China, but there’s a catch. You’ve got to first eat your way through a cut-throat sushi and dim sum eating challenge where you face off with other competitive eaters. Get your chopsticks ready, folks!
Stack Up Your Plate at Sushi Groove
Head to any Sushi Groove outlet in Grand Indonesia, Kota Kasablanka or Pondok Indah Mall 2 to put yourself down for the challenge. The rule is as simple (and as tasty) as eating as many sushi plates as you can on the moving conveyer belt in 10 minutes. Two persons with highest stack of plates in each outlet will then compete in the final round on 20 May 2017 where they’ll get a chance to win a pair of return tickets to Japan!
Shaolin Dim Sum War at Fook Yew
Eating a selection of Fook Yew’s best dim sum dishes may sound like a piece of cake for you and your forever hungry tummy. But to finish all 18 pieces in under three minutes while being blindfolded, well, that is another story! If you’re up for the challenge (just think: Shanghai baby!), head to any Fook Yew outlet to sign up and join the war. Six top dim sum shaolins from each outlet will have their final challenge on 13 May 2017 at Kelapa Gading 5, where only one person will be named Fook Yew’s Eating Master and bring home two return ticket to Shanghai in the wonderful land of China.
