Coming all the way from Thailand, these sweet yet healthy mango juices are the next big thing in Jakarta.
Once upon a time, eating healthy is one of the hardest things to do among the many sinful choices of food in the capital. But it’s getting easier by day with the rise of healthy (and Instagrammable!) menus like poke bowl, smoothie bowl and cold press juice. The latest to join the list is the trending mango juice, now sought-after for its naturally sweet flavour and big portion. From north to south, we’ve combed the Big Durian to round up the best mango drinks in town that are worth putting on your list.
The pioneer of mango drinks in town, King Mango Thai opens its first branch in Jakarta at Neo Soho, which immediately attracts a 2-hour worth of queuing at the atrium and all the way up the escalator. Isn’t that amazing?! The drink itself, sold at IDR 50,000 per cup, is divided into layers of mango juice, mango puree, white cream, and mango sorbet with chunky mango slices on top. After receiving much love from the crowd, the Thai brand has soon branched out to other locations at Margocity Depok and Aeon Mall Jakarta Garden City.

Another shop to also sell their own version of mango drink is Mango Mango, located at Lippo Mall Puri St. Moritz and Bella Terra Lifestyle Center in Kelapa Gading. Here, you can not only drink its signature mango juice but also eat Thai’s most beloved dessert: mango sticky rice! You can get the mango juice at IDR 50,000 per cup and the mango sticky rice at IDR 40,000. Want to have more mango goodness on your plate? Get the Mango Paradise for IDR 65,000, which includes mango sticky rice with an addition of mango ice cream and mango pudding.

The size is just the right portion for you if you come with your stomach already half-full, as the thick texture is very fulfilling on its own with its mango puree, white cream, mango sorbet and mango chunks. With its first outlet located at Setiabudi One in Kuningan, Mango Bomb has branched out to the north at Baywalk Mall and also Lippo Mall Kemang. Each cup is sold at IDR 50,000 and consists of mango juice, mango shaved ice, mango syrup, whipped cream and mango slices.

Famous for its Thai tea drinks, Cha Payom has also joined the hype by selling its version of mango drinks for IDR 30,000. Called Mango Tango, the drink is a bit different than the rest as it uses mango ice cream on top of mango pudding, Thai syrup and fresh mango slices.
