Dine and toast in style at the new Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta where Palm Court, Nautilus Bar, La Patisserie, and Dolcetto have just opened its doors to Jakarta's most discerning gourmands.
We were so excited for the new Four Seasons Hotel to open its doors this summer, mainly because we knew that this news would come with more Hot New Tables in tow. Helmed by Italian Executive Chef, Marco Riva, these exciting new dining spots include an East meets West all-day dining venue, a stunning whiskey bar for after-work tipples, a glamorous cake shop that would make Marie Antoinette proud, and a grab-and-go coffee hub for the city’s movers and shakers. We also hear another stunning rooftop dining venue is set to be open later this year, so keep your eyes peeled for that announcement!
Palm Court is the hotel’s main all-day dining venue where the city’s most discerning gourmands get to dine in style at any time of day. The rotunda dining room boasts striking interiors – just look up at the stunning Lasvit crystal chandeliers (handmade in the Czech Republic!) that are inspired by the Bismark palm trees you can see outside. Plush green chairs make the perfect setting to relax over a comforting meal, whether you’re there to start the day right with a sumptuous breakfast or savouring a leisurely afternoon tea. The Palm Court’s specialties include Javanese Lobster Laksa and Tom Yum Risotto.
Indulge in your sweet tooth (we know we will) at Four Season Hotel’s La Patisserie where coveted specialty cakes, chocolates, pastries and other sweet, sweet treats are all available. With elegant Tiffany blue walls, gorgeous marble floorings, and beautifully crafted confections that look almost too pretty to eat, this glamorous pastry salon will put you in the mood to gather round your girls for that long awaited catch up. Pack up a selection of their mignon patisseries to take home – and it wouldn’t hurt to sneak in an extra praline or two.
Need a few tipples to unwind after a long day? Toast in style at Four Seasons’ resident drinking destination: Nautilus Bar. This cosy lounge and most welcome addition to Jakarta’s bar scene boasts top of the line single-malt whiskeys and fine spirits from all corners of the globe. If straight up isn’t your thing, Four Seasons’ expert bartenders will whip up signature cocktails using local ingredients like nutmeg, galangal, clove and lemongrass. And what’s most impressive is the stunning wall mural of Jakarta’s old Sunda Kelapa trading port that is sure to become a conversation piece behind the bar.
Seeing as the new Four Seasons Hotel is located by the new Capital Place office building, they’ve smartly thought everything through. Need a quick caffeine boost before dashing off to your morning meeting? Pop by Dolcetto, the hotel’s conveniently located grab-and-go cafe, where you can order a freshly brewed Illy coffee or chow down a sweet breakfast pastry before your day starts.
