Kyushu Pancake Singapore
All pancake enthusiasts, look this way! The famous Japanese Pancake Café, Kyushu Pancake, has landed in Singapore too. Kyushu Pancake is definitely known for its tasty flour base, made with seven different grains that are grown in Kyushu and combined with fresh fruits and dairy products. Interestingly, everything served here is made in-house – including its jams and whipped cream. Be it sweet or savoury, Kyushu Pancake has it all; from Kyushu butter milk classic pancake to its egg benedict pancake, Kyushu Pancake certainly offers an array of pancakes that caters to every taste bud. Honolulu Café
A big fan of the egg tarts from the famous Honolulu Café in Hong Kong? We’ve good news for ya’! Finally opening its international outpost in Singapore, we now no longer need to travel four hours to Hong Kong to experience the renowned Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng (a local tea restaurant that serves comfort food at affordable prices). Make your way to The Centrepoint in Orchard, and you can enjoy its signature Honolulu egg tarts ($1.70++ each), Honolulu pineapple bun with butter ($2++ each) and a glass of yuan yang ($3.30-$3.50). But if you’re feeling super peckish, fret not! They also offer hearty fare like fried rice with salted fish and chicken ($7), beef brisket in soup ($6) and more. And if you’re worried that it might not be as good as the original, we’ve heard that Hong Kong chefs were brought to the Singapore outlet to ensure consistency in the dishes – talk about maintaining standards!

Dazzling Cafe Pink
Brought to you by the folks behind Dazzling Café at Capitol Piazza, Dazzling Cafe Pink is a brand new dining and retail concept at Level 1, Orchard Gateway. As whimsical as the primary outlet in décor and interior design, this new venue offers new palate-pleasing fare including its lobster cold capllini and oven baked snapper with roasted eggplant. On top of that, Dazzling Café Pink also dishes out its own signature dishes like mentaiko pasta, and its Singapore exclusive, tom yum seafood. Here, you can also enjoy flavourful honey toasts like oreo honey toast or caramel honey toast with macadamia nuts. If you’re a fan of Dazzling Café’s matcha with azuki beans honey toasts, you’ve got to try Dazzling Café Pink’s spin on it – waffle style!

Fuel Plus
Tucked away at Morse Road in the quiet neighbourhood of Telok Blangah, Fuel Plus is a new café opened by the guys behind Refuel Café. Fuel Plus certainly emulates an Aussie-styled café, with its minimalist and clean interior design concept. Stumbled upon the café on an empty stomach? Its comprehensive menu has a variety of options catering to different needs and tastes. Must-tries include pulled pork benedict ($16), What e Crab Burger ($16) and beef ragu pappardelle ($18). And if you still have space for dessert, its Pump It Up Hotcake ($16) is sinfully appetising!

Hareloom Café&Bar
Situated strategically at the entrance of klapsons, The Boutique Hotel, Hareloom Café&Bar is an unpretentious eatery where you can grab takeaway food items like salads, light sandwiches and some sweet bites. Sanrio’s world-renowned fictional feline, Hello Kitty, has jetted its way to Singapore to open its first ever Hello Kitty-themed café at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Inspired by the orchid (Singapore’s national flower), this cartoon café aims mimic the garden city vibe. The local-inspired menu offers all-day breakfast options, and has a great selection of Instaworthy Kitty-fied sweet treats such as gelato sundaes, waffles, pastries and teacakes. Must-tries here include its Big Breakfast Surprise that comes with a Hello Kitt- shaped waffle(!); Cowabunga! Wagyu! – think Wagyu beef in delicious rendang gravy; and its over-the-top sundae called Camping Under The Stars.
