This summer sees the coming together of a duo of Australian-Vietnamese chefs for two special evenings on the 17th and 18th July at Le Garçon Saigon. Le Garçon Saigon’s Bao La, Head Chef of the Saigonese grillhouse and Thi Le of Melbourne’s hatted Anchovy collaborate on a menu that brings together the best of both chef’s experiences in modern Australian and Asian cooking. The collaboration is a celebration of Bao’s and Thi’s shared Vietnamese heritage and each chef’s experiences growing up in Australia. Both countries have a strong grilling culture and a fondness for cold, fresh beer.
