likely that you \u2013 like me \u2013 presumed snake cuisine was the only item on offer. But Ng explains, \u201cCantonese cuisine has always been our focus. Yes, our specialty is snake cuisine, but that\u2019s not all. We have signature soups, stir-fried dishes, and all kinds of homemade dishes lovingly crafted with family recipes to ensure guests feel like home when they dine here. I\u2019ve been following the footsteps of my parents, and that\u2019s my main goal: to keep on serving happy customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Poetically, Ng points to Ser Wong Fun\u2019s varied culinary offerings as an equaliser. \u201cWhen people come here, they feel like they can really be themselves. It doesn\u2019t matter who they are, what job they do, and what their statuses are \u2013 once they\u2019re in here, they leave their day behind at the door. She always wished that young people would come in to try the restaurant for themselves. And since we\u2019ve had success hosting various DJ events and selling cocktails and egg waffles, I thought, why not do something fun? But I say to them \u2013 no. I have creative ideas, but I\u2019m not that great.
