Those from countries like Mongolia, Singapore, Thailand, and the UAE can enjoy visa-free entry for <strong>up to 30 days<\/strong>. If you\u2019re travelling for leisure and tourism, submit <strong>proof of round-trip plane tickets and hotel reservations<\/strong> in China when applying for a China visa.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re working in Hong Kong, you can apply for a <strong>Multiple-entry Visa<\/strong> to travel to China. This is usually valid for two years. You can also transit visa-free in the Guangdong province for up to six days. High Speed Rail to China<\/h3>\n<p>Hong Kong\u2019s <strong>West Kowloon Station<\/strong> connects our city to Mainland China\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highspeed.mtr.com.hk\/en\/main\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">High Speed Rail<\/a> network (aka <em>gaotie<\/em>), and is the best way to get around. Whether you\u2019re considering a short-haul trip to <a href=\"https:\/\/thehoneycombers.com\/hong-kong\/things-to-do-in-shenzhen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shenzhen<\/a> or a longer holiday to Beijing, the high speed rail can get you there in no time. Simply download the apps while you\u2019re still in Hong Kong, connect your card, and you\u2019re good to go! That being said, it doesn\u2019t hurt to have some cash on hand for emergencies. This is one of the most reliable <strong>map apps<\/strong> in China. But, you can also use Apple Maps, or even the map built into Wechat.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Didi<\/h3>\n<p>Not up for taking public transport in China? You can always <strong>hail a cab<\/strong>. While you can flag one down on the streets like anywhere else in the world, it\u2019s much better to call a taxi using the Didi app (\u6ef4\u6ef4). You\u2019ll need to connect your account with a Chinese phone number and Alipay China or Wechat to pay for your ride. Once you\u2019ve set up your account, order a ride like you would on Uber.<\/p>\n<h3>3. These are basically the Deliveroo and Foodpanda of Mainland China, complete with exclusive deals and promotions on selected restaurants. What\u2019s more, you can pay for a meal using the apps (after connecting with your Alipay China or Wechat account) or order drinks to the restaurant you\u2019re currently dining at. Pretty neat if you ask us!<\/p>\n<h3>4. Dianping<\/h3>\n<p>Last but not least, if you&#8217;re planning your itinerary or in search of things to do in China, Dianping (or Dazhong Dianping) (\u5927\u4f17\u70b9\u8bc4) is your best companion. Essentially the Openrice or Tripadvisor of the Mainland, Dianping allows users to <strong>rate and review<\/strong> restaurants, services, and institutions.
