We\u2019ve been keeping active during this year of madness by hiking in Hong Kong<\/a> and attending countless online fitness classes<\/a>, but sometimes we just want some pampering. A new addition to our list of best hair salons in Hong Kong<\/a>, La Provence Hair Salon is all about delivering amazing cuts and great colours in a friendly environment.<\/p>\n

The vibe at La Provence Hair Salon<\/h3>\n

The view from the salon is a nice break from the city<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This intimate salon tucked away above the plaza in Discovery Bay is super chill and looks out onto beautiful green hills to up the relaxing vibes. You\u2019ll be greeted by the amazing Isaac, owner of the salon and resident hair magician. After working at Hipp Fish in Central for years, his salon is frequented by residents of the area and loyal clients who have followed him across the water.<\/p>\n

I love the fact that he has up-to-date magazines, some cool retro vibes, a guitar, and aboriginal Australian paintings hanging on the walls, all speaking to his warm and eclectic personality.<\/p>\n

The cut and colour<\/h3>\n

I enjoyed the bright and airy vibe at the salon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Really I just needed a refresh, but we thought we\u2019d have some fun by adding some light peachy tones to my blonde hair. I also asked him to tone down the yellowness in my blonde and re-do the brown colour on the top of my head.<\/p>\n

Isaac matched the top colour perfectly and created a beautiful peach hue for a bit of fun at the bottom of my bob. I loved the way that he talked me through the process and that we really worked on my hair together with a series of photos and colour boards.<\/p>\n

Have you even been to a salon if you haven’t read some good magazines?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For the cut, it was really just in need of a trim as I\u2019m trying to grow it out. But for some fun, he accentuated the waves in my hair as he styled it. and I loved the way it looked when I stepped out of the salon.<\/p>\n

The whole experience at La Provence Hair Salon was a dream. It\u2019s so nice to support an owner-run-and-operated space, and with Isaac\u2019s years of experience, your biggest problem will be getting an appointment!<\/p>\n
