And if you need spectacles to help you see it all a bit clearer, there are oodles of great options. Here\u2019s a list of where I buy cheap prescription glasses in Hong Kong (and fun fact: I used to have an alternate career as a trainee dispensing optician!)<\/p>\n

Where to buy cheap prescription glasses in Hong Kong<\/h2>\n

1. eGG Optical<\/h3>\n

This Korean chain is a great first port of call for anyone on the hunt for affordable glasses in Hong Kong. The team at eGG Optical will do an eye test for you that\u2019s included in the price of the lenses and frames, making it a one-stop shop for your vision. The brand offers hundreds of styles, including classic, on-trend, and retro looks, plus a selection of junior frames. Best of all, it only takes a short time for the spectacles to be assembled. Even for someone with a high prescription and astigmatism like me (read: very thick lenses!), I\u2019ve had glasses in hand in under a week on multiple occasions, and have been very much in love with them all. We definitely suggest going to the bigger branches, such as those in Mong Kok and Tai Koo, for more options.<\/p>\n

2. Zoff<\/h3>\n

Zoff is basically the Japanese version of eGG Optical. With branches all over town, Zoff stocks a huge range of frames, and we really dig its coloured looks. The brand boasts that many of its frames are made in Japan, so you can expect the latest trends presented in top quality at Zoff. Shop some fun collaborations with the likes of Disney and Star Wars alongside more traditional styles. People with regular prescriptions could nab a pair of glasses here for under $1,000, complete with an eye test.<\/p>\n

Promising to change the way its clients view the world, Jins has some beautiful frames in plastics and metals, along with a unique selection of shapes and sizes. I love the collaborations that it does with artists, fashion labels, and architects, as these often result in quirky pieces that are still ultra affordable.<\/p>\n

4. Woo Ping Optical Shop<\/h3>\n

A small optical shop near the Fortress Hill MTR Station, Woo Ping has been in the North Point neighbourhood since 1974. From vintage sunglasses, nerdy frames, used Ray-Bans, to new Japanese or Korean specs, this shop is a haven for the retro fans. Run by an elderly couple, Woo Ping is where you\u2019ll encounter warm and friendly service and, of course, some very affordable prescription glasses in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

You can easily have your preferred pair delivered speedily if you can\u2019t find them in-store. Just bear in mind that for online purchases, you\u2019ll need a copy of your latest prescription, as well as your PD (distance between both pupils), though rest assured you can easily get this from any optometrist. In terms of lenses, you can opt for single vision, progressive, transition, and a range of protective coatings. SmartBuyGlasses also has competitive prices on contact lenses, so be sure to check those out as well.<\/p>\n

With thousands of frames to choose from, the hardest part will be narrowing down your favourite. However, with New Fei\u2019s reasonable prices, you might want to invest in a back-up or alternate pair. Best of all, if your prescription isn\u2019t too taxing, you may be able to walk away with your new glasses on the same day!<\/p>\n

With high-quality prescription glasses available, you\u2019ll definitely be able to find a sturdy and reliable pair without breaking the bank.<\/p>\n
