Enter Blonde Boudoir Hong Kong, our very own version of the wildly popular Singapore hair salon. When I saw someone exiting the salon with the most perfect balayage I\u2019ve seen in The 852, I knew I had to try it. See how it went below.<\/p>\n<h3>The situation<\/h3>\n<p>After getting a buzz cut last year, I\u2019m now in the super awkward phase of growing my long locks back, and I can tell you: it ain\u2019t that fun. And the Hong Kong boudoir brings the same expertise, thanks to Felix Beck, a German-born stylist with years of experience working with hair in glamourous St Moritz and aboard luxury cruise ships.<\/p>\n<p>The minimal interior has pops of colour, glitter and \u2013 most importantly \u2013 really good reading materials to make your time in the chair pass quickly. He coloured my hair to the perfect peachy\/pink that I was looking for using Guy Tang colours, and talked me through the entire process, including colouring the roots separately to give a more mature final look. He also schooled me on using a wonderful Kevin Murphy product called Freehold Cream that gives my hair lift without me spending hours in front of the mirror because I\u2019ve got no time for that!<\/p>\n<h3>The conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>Blonde Boudoir was the best hair experience I\u2019ve had in Hong Kong so far. It was so good to find a colourist with so much knowledge, especially when I&#8217;m going through a lot of changes with my length.
