Where is Batam?<\/h3>\n

Located just 45-minutes by ferry from Singapore, Batam is one of the 17,508 islands that make up the archipelago of Indonesia. Batam city is actually the main city of the three Riau Islands that are made up of Batam, Rempang, and Galang, known collectively as Barelang.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a hugely popular destination for Singaporeans who flock to the city on the weekends and holidays for affordable and fresh seafood, shopping and staycations, and while it may not have the uber-cool restaurants, and beach clubs that Bali has to offer, there are some hidden gems here just waiting to be discovered.<\/p>\n

And while the kids are being entertained, parents can chill by the pool, experience one of the nearby shopping malls, hit the neighbouring golf course or book in at Zoysia Spa for a revitalising treatment.<\/p>\n

If you want to venture outside the facilities, we suggest you have the staff arrange a day trip to beautiful Ranoh Island. Enjoy the scenic 50-minute drive from the hotel to the ferry port and take a short ride to an island paradise that feels like you\u2019re in the middle of nowhere. Coconut trees line the white sand beaches on one side of the island, while another part is taken up with an inflatable water park and water sports like banana boats that will keep the whole family entertained.<\/p>\n
