It\u2019s a new take, a new imaginative way for your kids to exercise their curiosity by exploring some of the fascinating aspects of nature. The park will have volcanoes, swamps, animals and bugs to look at and climb around, with the sounds of nature to ignite the imagination of your little one. Learning through play, they\u2019ll absorb the sights and sensory stimulation, gaining a better understanding of Mother Nature and our world while having a lot of fun in the process.<\/p>\n

5. Pink Dolphin Watch<\/h3>\n

Conservationist Bill Leverett founded this organisation with a few goals in mind. He aimed to raise awareness of the plight of the pink dolphin in Hong Kong by educating people on how they could be of use through observation in their natural habitat. Having such a personal experience with an animal in the wild can be invaluable for a child helping to ignite their curiosity about the mammal and its welfare. He felt that contributing to the tourism economy would then generate revenue for campaigns and research programs, which is a good cause. The Pink Dolphin’s existence is a genuinely unexpected Hong Kong treasure and an occurrence some people are still very unaware of.<\/p>\n

The name says it all. Ark Eden is an ecological immersive educational program providing valuable workshops run out of Mui Wo, Lantau, one of the most beautiful islands around Hong Kong<\/a>. Kids will spend extended periods surrounded by nature, in hidden waterfalls, on the beach and sitting together around campfires discussing issues like conservation, preservation and sustainability all in a very outdoorsy, interactive and fun group setting.
