Therefore, we present to you five avocado toast recipes that you can make at home – that are also vegan and vegetarian-friendly. No more paying for overpriced and underwhelming avocado toast on the street, because you already know the best tricks!<\/p>\n

Pro tip: Adding lemon juice or lime juice is a must!<\/h3>\n

First thing first, it\u2019s essential to squeeze a little lemon juice or lime juice over the avocado. Not only does adding lemon juice help prevent avocados from browning, the acidity elevates the taste of avocado and makes it taste ten times better. Trust me on this!<\/p>\n

Avocado toast recipes that you need to know<\/h2>\n

1. Avocado + fresh basil + sundried tomato + chilli flakes<\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re going for more traditional avocado toast recipes, this one is for you. Put fresh basil leaves and sundried tomatoes on top of your mashed avocado (mixed with lemon juice beforehand), and finish it off with a sprinkle of salt and chilli flakes.
