Whether you\u2019re a fan of luxurious hotel spas<\/a>, eyelash extensions<\/a> or regular hair makeovers at the best hair salons in Hong Kong<\/a>, we all have our little beauty indulgences, and mine are manicures. So when a friend who is as equally besotted by nail art as me recommended I try newly-opened Nail Care 2 in Kennedy Town, I couldn\u2019t resist.<\/p>\n

Nail Care 2: Speedy manicures and pedicures<\/h3>\n

As the salon is new, all of the products are in top condition, and true to colour<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After spending years at Nails88 honing her skills, the owner of Nail Care 2 has over 13 years of experience in the manicure business, now that\u2019s a lot of nails! You know you\u2019re in good hands when you visit this small and intimate nail salon in Kennedy Town, there are no added extras here, but ditching the fancy tea service means you reap the rewards when it comes to paying, and sometimes you just need a good, quick nail makeover to tide you over.<\/p>\n

Having already enjoyed an express pedicure at Nail Care 2 a few months earlier, we went down to try their soft gel manicure service that starts at just $200. Having whatsapped my design through prior, she was ready and waiting with the colours that she thought would work and we discussed exactly what shade of red I wanted as she filed and trimmed away.<\/p>\n

Nail bed prepped, she\u2019d gotten the base coat on before I could even ask many questions about the salon. Once I finalised the shade of vibrant pink I wanted to adorn my fingers with, she handpainted the diagonal lines before finishing off with some polka dots. From start to finish, the service took around 40 minutes, and two weeks later, no polish has budges an inch.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had to many compliments about my manicure since I had it done, and I\u2019m really enthused about this little business. I\u2019m even a little ashamed to say that I still have the pedicure on from my earlier visit, but no cracks or chips there either!<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking to support a small business that offers a really quality service without the frou frou, then Nail Care 2 in Kennedy Town should definitely be on your radar.<\/p>\n
