Featuring the feminine-styles of <a href=\"https:\/\/thehoneycombers.com\/hong-kong\/vive-cake-boutique-central-h-queens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VIVE Cake Boutique<\/a> on the ground level and <a href=\"https:\/\/thehoneycombers.com\/hong-kong\/listing\/ecriture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ecriture<\/a> on the 26th floor, the building is also home to Arbor.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_214889\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-214889\" style=\"width: 900px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/06\/Arbor-H-Queens-Hong-Kong-Central-bar-900x643.png\" alt=\"Arbor bar area\" width=\"900\" height=\"643\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-214889 lazyload\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/06\/Arbor-H-Queens-Hong-Kong-Central-bar-900x643.png 900w, https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/06\/Arbor-H-Queens-Hong-Kong-Central-bar-768x549.png 768w, https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/06\/Arbor-H-Queens-Hong-Kong-Central-bar.png 1400w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 900px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 900\/643;\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-214889\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Yabu Pushelberg makes sure that no interior area is left unthought of at Arbor<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Helmed by Chef Eric R\u00e4ty, formerly at <a href=\"https:\/\/thehoneycombers.com\/hong-kong\/cafe-gray-deluxe-upper-house-introduces-revitalising-menu-vegan-vegetarian\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cafe Gray Deluxe<\/a> in The Upper House, the interior itself is a reason to make a booking right now. Design fans will surely know the studio behind the project, and signature Yabu Pushelberg elements can be found throughout the space, from the &#8220;high-humble&#8221; aesthetic to the bespoke furniture, all helping subtly allude to the forest.<\/p>\n<p>Executed in what I am informed is millenial pink \u2013 though I would actually refer to as more of a subdued terracotta \u2013 the dining room is a breath of fresh air amid the heart of the city, and those views of the surrounds are an added bonus.<\/p>\n<h3>Let\u2019s talk about that food (and why I\u2019m obsessed)<\/h3>\n<p>Like most chefs these days, R\u00e4ty is keeping the menu seasonal so that every time you go and try the set menu, you will get to sample something new. Cooked on a charcoal grill, this succulent delight was accompanied by Japanese fruit tomatoes, candied kombu and a beautifully simple yet invigorating tomato consomme jelly.<\/p>\n<p>Another highlight were the delicious Uni morsels that started our meal, served with sea buckthorn berry and wasabi on a homemade rice crisp; a little bit of heaven.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_214891\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-214891\" style=\"width: 900px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/06\/Arbor-H-Queens-Hong-Kong-Central-dessert-900x643.png\" alt=\"Arbor dessert\" width=\"900\" height=\"643\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-214891 lazyload\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/06\/Arbor-H-Queens-Hong-Kong-Central-dessert-900x643.png 900w, https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/06\/Arbor-H-Queens-Hong-Kong-Central-dessert-768x549.png 768w, https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/06\/Arbor-H-Queens-Hong-Kong-Central-dessert.png 1400w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 900px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 900\/643;\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-214891\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Arbor brings the taste of Hong Kong with a dessert that combines the flavours of soy milk, soy sauce and salted egg yolk<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>OK, so I said that the langoustine was my absolute favourite, but actually this creative dessert may have pipped it at the post for a place in my heart. A delicious quenelle of soy milk ice cream atop salted duck yolk and white chocolate with black beans coated in Kowloon soy sauce and dried soy bean sheets? Who would come up with such a party in your mouth?
