Whether you\u2019re in the mood for a Tuesday happy hour<\/a> tipple, a weekend wind-down after brunch<\/a>, or a romantic spot for date night<\/a>, if you\u2019re as serious about your Bordeaux and Barolo as we are, then these are the Hong Kong wine bars you\u2019d want to seek out.<\/p>\n

Wine bars we love to frequent in Hong Kong<\/h2>\n

1. 67 on Hollywood<\/h3>\n

Take your pick straight from the wine wall at 67 on Hollywood<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Honeys, this is a wine bar you can take your bae, friends, parents, and clients to. We’ve tried and tested 67 on Hollywood, and we just love the vibe here: intimate, elegant, and welcoming. Even though it’s founded by 67 Pall Mall, a global private members’ wine club, it’s a haven for all wine lovers, members and non-members alike. (Of course, members enjoy the wine list at marked-down prices and access to a “black book” of exclusive wines.)<\/p>\n

With an extensive by-the-glass wine list from the seasonal “Everything Pinot” programme, 67 on Hollywood offers both time-honoured classics and hidden gems from the Pinot family. We found two new favourites here: Domaine Marcel Deiss Mambourg Grand Cru 2020, a powerful white wine from Alsace with superb complexity; and the Restless River Le Luc 2021, a graceful, South African red wine that gives plush fruits and and delicate floral notes. We recommend pairing these with the bar’s signature bites, including the Bang Bang Burrata and Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Satay.<\/p>\n

2. Corks Wine & Bar<\/h3>\n

Don’t underestimate this cosy wine bar in Hong Kong! Perched on the intersection between Hollywood Road and Lok Ku Road, the first location of Corks in Poho may be small, but it’s well-stocked with some of the finest French wines in town. Whenever we pass by (it’s a stone’s throw away from our office), Corks is buzzing with energy, with happy imbibers spilling out into the street. This comes as no surprise, as the bar hosts frequent events such as wine tastings, and launches seasonal menus to keep things fresh. In fact, you might catch us there for happy hour<\/a>!<\/p>\n

3. Crushed Wine Bar<\/h3>\n

Have you heard the news? Crushed Wines, the wine retailer, has re-emerged as Crushed Wine Bar in January 2025. The carefully curated and ever-changing wine list always features at least one sparkling, five whites, five reds, and three skin-contacts to keep you on your toes every visit. At the bar downstairs, you can grab a few light bites while enjoying a Three- or Five-glass Wine Flight. Or, head upstairs to the dining room for small plates and share dishes of French-American comfort food. If the night is still young after your tipple at Crushed, make sure to drop by its nearby sister restaurant, Brut!, for dinner. The food and wines there are equally delicious!<\/p>\n

La Cabane, an intimate French bistro with a charming, rustic space, is best known for its authentic cuisine and natural wines. The owners are passionate about sourcing natural wines that not only come from organic grapes, but go through a vinification process that is done organically as well. These fine bottles of natural wine are sourced from France, Italy, Spain, and Greece. Dine in and linger over a few plates of charcuterie and cheese, or pick up a bottle or three from La Cabane\u2019s wine cellar to take home. When it comes to wine bars in Hong Kong, this one is one of the best!<\/p>\n

Whether your drink of choice is the house vino by glass or the rarest red, LQV\u2019s passionate and friendly bar staff will gladly help you discover your next favourite bottle. Now, you can enjoy LQV wines at more locations near you, such as Terroirs by LQV in Central and Terrace by LQV in Stanley, both opened in 2022.<\/p>\n

With hundreds of bottles offered at special rates for members, you can enjoy some vino with fellow wine lovers while expanding your palate. Of course, you’re welcome to walk in as a non-member, too.<\/p>\n

Doubling as a wine showroom and restaurant, you can rest assured that what you\u2019ll be drinking is a high calibre wine, as only wines scored 90 points and above on the wine 100-point scale are selected for the comprehensive list. Regular tastings and masterclasses are hosted by James Suckling in this establishment, so you can expand your wine knowledge while enjoying a drink or two. Note that this place requires smart casual attire, so put on some nice duds and head over!<\/p>\n

The is the perfect place for gatherings, as one can easily intend to catch up with friends over a quick drink, but really end up staying for dinner. The extensive wine list has carefully curated bottles sourced from all around the world, which go well with the selection of Mediterranean tapas, pastas, and pizzas.<\/p>\n
