While the sport looks pretty tough, the ladies assure us that one of the hardest things about it will be choosing your pseudonym!<\/p>\n<h3>Meet the team behind Hong Kong Roller Derby<\/h3>\n<p>You\u2019re probably familiar with the sport of roller derby thanks to Drew Barrymore\u2019s Whip It, but did you know that Hong Kong has its very own crew? Hong Kong Roller Derby is an all-female non-profit organisation which is completely owned and operated by the skaters, and we headed along to a practice to see what it&#8217;s all about (check out the video below.)<\/p>\n<p>[aiovg_video id=166280]<\/p>\n<p>The crew actually started in 2013 and grew in numbers until they had their first bout in 2017. More than anything, the group is about community and inclusivity.
