But how about finding regular restaurants with vegan options in Hong Kong so that everyone will be happy? Do they even exist? Yes, they do. And we\u2019ve scouted out the best of them for all you hungry vegans, vegetarians and your omnivorous friends.<\/p>\n

Where to find restaurants with vegan options in Hong Kong<\/h2>\n

1. Poem<\/h3>\n

There’s no need to give up on curry and such even if you’re going vegan or vegetarian! With the release of Tindle<\/a>, a plant-based chicken, in mid-2021, you can dig into a variety of scrumptious dishes without having to eat any meat. Not only were we pleasantly surprised by how similar Tindle was to real chicken, but we also loved the Tindle curry (Kare Merah) at Poem. Make sure to look out for other restaurants across Hong Kong that serve Tindle<\/a> and other vegan and veggie options!<\/p>\n

Just say yes to Sichuan cuisine! When it comes to restaurants with options in Hong Kong, this is one of our faves. Enjoy the traditional flavours of Sichuan cuisine here, with entire appetiser and main menus dedicated to vegans and vegetarians. Or, order dishes from Chilli Fagara’s takeaway venture, Hot N Meen.\u00a0 The Impossible dumplings are a good place to start, and the Kung Pao Tofu is lit!<\/p>\n

Look, we’re always obsessed with Arcane, and the fact that they have a full vegan menu makes us squeal a little harder. Expect seasonal delicacies all prepared exquisitely by the Michelin-starred team, including some flavour combinations that may surprise you. Pair your meal with some delightful wine from their excellent cellar, and both meaties and veggies will be in heaven.<\/p>\n

While burgers may not spring to mind as vegan fare, the team at Honbo knows better. In fact, their vegan burger is one of their most popular items on the menu, and for good reason too! With a patty made from mushrooms, roasted eggplants, and chickpeas, it\u2019s topped with marinated black fungus and pickles and served on a delish vegan bun. Coming in at just 310 calories, this definitely has to be eaten to be believed.<\/p>\n

Established by a Hong Kong-based Japanese couple, Camper’s is a casual and down-to-earth Japanese eatery. The signature vegetable curry and rice (with fifteen types of assorted vegetables) and udon noodles with sauteed mushrooms are not to be missed, making Camper’s one of the best restaurants with vegan and vegetarian options in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

Thai restaurant Mak Mak is happy to cater to vegans\u2019 needs. From stir-fried tofu (Phad Bai Ka Pow), to pomelo salad (Yum Som) and vegan phad Thai, there’s a variety of meat-free Thai flavours for you to choose from, while meat-eaters can indulge in their favourite Thai staples too.<\/p>\n

If you crave some vegan and vegetarian American-style Mexican food, Cali-Mex is your place. Their iconic vegan burrito consists of soy-chicken strips, delicious starchy beans, vegan cheese, and tofu sour cream \u2013 it\u2019s one of our all-time favourites! But if regular cheese is your game, they have plenty of that too.<\/p>\n

Located in Jordan, Manakamana Nepali Restaurant serves some of the best Nepali and Indian dishes in Hong Kong \u2013 and they’re reasonably priced, too. Featuring a great number of vegan and vegetarian options, you should definitely give their vegan steamed momos and chatpate a try.<\/p>\n

The team at Posto Pubblico knows how to party when it comes to offering their customers great vegan dishes. We’ve been to visit and indulge a few times now, and even the meat eaters are down for this menu. Chopped kale salad with apple, gorgonzola, hazelnuts, and honey lemon citronette? Yes, please! The most delicate beet carpaccio? Mmm… Heavenly. We are also totally obsessed with the eggplant bolognese that is hearty and warming, yet completely plant-based. And our absolute favourites are the deep-fried enoki mushrooms. Lovely fresh local mushrooms are fried till golden and then served with fresh lemon, and they taste magical. Head over for the amazing happy hour<\/a>\u00a0deal, and stay for the food!<\/p>\n
