So, it\u2019s no surprise you can find different types of rinks, too, for you to test your ice skating moves and stunts. Now that we\u2019ve found the sweetest locations in the city, looks like it\u2019s time to go ice skating in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

Where to go ice skating in Hong Kong<\/h2>\n

1. Festival Walk Glacier<\/h3>\n

Situated directly next to the cinema, The Glacier is a popular spot for many students who study in the area, as well as young aspiring figure skaters. Its Skating School has various programmes, including the Recreational Programme, the Champion Programme (meant for more serious skaters who wish to take part in the Winter Olympics), and more.<\/p>\n

2. Mega Ice<\/h3>\n

One of the largest ice skating rinks in Hong Kong, Mega Ice is of the internationally regulated size, making it the perfect location for international sporting events and competitions. 3. Sky Rink<\/h3>\n

This small ice skating rink is located on the second highest floor of the Dragon Centre in Sham Shui Po. Located immediately beside the food court, Sky Rink is ideal for a quick skating session before or after grabbing a bite. This rink is popular among many teen visitors who also enjoy the arcade on the above floor. Local ice hockey teams also have regular training sessions here.<\/p>\n

4. Cityplaza Ice Palace<\/h3>\n

Revamped in 2020, Cityplaza Ice Palace accommodates skaters of all levels with their extensive programme. It also features a range of new amenities and technologies, including upgraded audio and lighting equipment, improved accessibility, self-service machines, digitalised lockers, and more. There’s even a stretching and activity room for you to do your warm-ups. Moreover, Ice Palace now creates Fast Ice using an environmentally friendly refrigerant.<\/p>\n

5. DB Ice Rink<\/h3>\n

Opened in May 2021, DB Ice Rink is one of the newest ice skating rinks in Hong Kong. Along with Mega Ice, this rink is one of the few international-sized ice rinks in the 852. With a professional coaching team, this rink is home to DB Ice Skating School where you can learn figure skating, ice hockey, as well as other ice sports and activities. Expect international competitions, world-class tournaments, and specialised training here!<\/p>\n
