So we\u2019ve asked some of our friends for their tips on men\u2019s grooming in Hong Kong, luckily they happen to be some of the most stylish dudes in The 852.<\/p>\n

Men’s grooming in Hong Kong<\/h2>\n

For the past two years I have always gone to RAW Hair Salon on Aberdeen Street to get my haircut. It\u2019s got a fantastic atmosphere\u00a0 and perfect for men’s grooming \u2013 every time I walk in I feel like I\u2019m meeting up with old friends. The conversation always flows and, most importantly, they always do a top job!<\/p>\n

2. Nelson Chow, Founder of NC Design and Architecture<\/h3>\n

Nelson Chow’s fresh cut is all about style and efficiency, he chooses Handsome Factory because of their straightforward no-fuss cut<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I go to Handsome Factory.\u00a0They are straight forward, they have a sharp eye, and they understand what hairstyle suits your face, plus they’re quick! They don\u2019t really do the 20-minute shampoo and massage thing that you have in most Hong Kong salons, it’s straight forward with no fuss. Book well in advance!<\/p>\n

3. Alexander Bent, Managing Partner\/Co-Founder of District15<\/h3>\n

I am usually pretty impatient when it comes to sitting for haircuts, but Dickey of Dickey Blue Hairstyling has good chat and usually has some great shots of his latest drone photography to help pass the time. He\u2019s also a super experienced hairdresser having worked on loads of ad campaigns in HK and internationally, and that experience helps when it comes to knowing what to do with my hair!<\/p>\n

4. Alexis Holm, Founder and Designer of Squarestreet<\/h3>\n

Alexis Holm gives us great advice on beard care and where to find the best treatments<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For a man, I guess the best place for grooming is the gym. A lean and healthy body beats a smooth chin or curly moustache pretty much any day of the week. Having said that, I have been known to get the occasional pedicure as well as wet shave, but they are few and far between. Even went to Skin Laundry for a while and let them shoot me with lasers. If you want a serious answer, I’d say go see Poison at Salon ThirT2 on Cochrane. She’s friendly and does a decent job of a twin peak victim such as myself and even trims my beard when I need it.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve come to care for Mauro at Selvedge Barbers, as he one of the first people I met when I came to Hong Kong from Italy. It\u2019s been over five years, yet I still see him every two weeks. He\u2019s a very skilled barber, and he knows how to entertain his clients and make you look slick. It’s a cool place, and I always enjoy the coffee and their treatments. Mauro is the best!<\/p>\n

I’m very fussy about who I let cut my hair and my beard, but I have it done at Adam Chan’s Hair House in Central by the amazing Kelvin Yu. It\u2019s an old school barber shop where you can get a proper wet shave and classic cut by a brilliant bunch of guys.<\/p>\n
