Needles never terrified me and my sense of curiosity always got the best of me, so when REVIV Hong Kong invited us along to try out the IV treatments and booster shots I was definitely game. <\/p>\n<p>Unlike blood exams where you can\u2019t eat or drink, IV treatments and shots do not require any preparation beforehand. I also received a B12 intramuscular injection shot right underneath my hip, directly into my muscle &#8211; which I admit did hurt quite a bit.
