That\u2019s why we\u2019re excited to be the official media partner for The Hebe Haven Yacht Club 24 Hour Charity Dinghy Race 2017<\/a>.\u00a0Organised by the wonderful team at Hebe Haven Yacht Club in Sai Kung, head down to enjoy live music, great food and drinks and watch the race this October.<\/p>\n

The Hebe Haven Yacht Club 24 Hour Charity Dinghy Race 2017<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In its fifteenth year, The Hebe Haven Yacht Club 24 Hour Charity Dinghy Race is one of only four 24 hour race events worldwide, and is the only endurance race of such a length in both Hong Kong and East Asia. Taking place from 21-22 October, the event is sailed in the sheltered waters in front of the Hebe Haven Yacht Club, and is kept within site of the club, allowing both adults and children to take part in the charity race.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Hebe Haven Yacht Club 24 Hour Charity Dinghy Race aims to raise money for Hong Kong charities, with organisations such as Children\u2019s Cancer Foundation, TREATS, IDEAL, Sailability Hong Kong and\u00a0Sai Kung District Community Centre benefiting from the proceeds. Since its inception, the event has raised over $11 million (HKD) for its chosen charities, and it\u2019s expected that over 2,000 people will attend the two-day event, either as visitors, participants, volunteers or supporting sponsors.<\/p>\n

Head on down to the Race Village and enjoy the entertainment<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

With free admission, the event is a great day out for the whole family, so show your support by heading down to the Race Village, where plenty of entertainment will be on hand. Enjoy live music, shop the stalls or indulge in craft beer and food, including tasty offerings from the likes of Peroni, Lola\u2019s Ice Pops and Three Blind Mice. And while the adults enjoy a wee tipple, kids will love the carnival atmosphere, featuring art jamming, print workshops, face painting and loads of other surprise activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Race Village will be open from 12-7pm on Saturday, 21 October – with live music keeping the party going until 10pm in the main marquee – and from 10am-4pm on Sunday, 22 October, so grab your friends and family and head down to support The Hebe Haven Yacht Club 24 Hour Charity Dinghy Race 2017.<\/p>\n
