Located in LKF Tower, Central, modern Chinese restaurant Fang Fang has created an innovative menu that is sure to put a smile on your face &#8211; think delicious Asian cuisine, Insta-worthy cocktails and great live jazz music.<\/p>\n<h3>Why Fang Fang?<\/h3>\n<p>Fang Fang is named after the mysterious Chinese opera singer with a sultry voice, and the interiors of the restaurant reflect this seductive style. Helmed by Executive Chef Kent Lee Chin Heng, the 130-seat venue includes a bar, main dining room and two private rooms.<\/p>\n<p>Guests are greeted at the reception area opposite the lifts before being whisked into the bar area that features a dragon in lights and is surrounded by patterning reminiscent of goldfish scales. Here, visitors can indulge in a cocktail from the menu that is split into the five elements: water, wood, earth, fire and metal.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-141182 size-full lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/07\/Fang-Fang-new-restaurant-LKF-Tower-Central-Hong-Kong-bar-cocktails-e1501493283116.jpg\" alt=\"Fang Fang new restaurant LKF Tower Central Hong Kong bar cocktails\" width=\"900\" height=\"785\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 900px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 900\/785;\"><\/p>\n<p>I tried the Grounded Yellow Dragon that included dark rum, ginger, chinese almond, lemon, licorice and peaty whisky. Served in a ceramic vessel that was handmade by the staff, the drink was absolutely delicious, with a citrusy kick followed by some heat from the ginger.<\/p>\n<p>All of the cocktails at Fang Fang are presented beautifully, with Omikuji Girl and Trai Dat being served in a ceramic girl and panda vessel respectively &#8211; #getyourcamerasout.<\/p>\n<h3>Modern Asian cuisine at Fang Fang tastes so good!<\/h3>\n<p>The food at Fang Fang is best enjoyed when shared, with the bonus being that you get to try more dishes!<\/p>\n<p>We started the night with Crispy Kale and Prawn Toast, both of which were excellent. The large bowl of Crispy Kale was so moorish, that we ate it like popcorn, while the Prawn Toast was juicy and full of prawn.<\/p>\n<p>My stand out dish of the night was the Forest Honey Grilled Chilean Seabass that had a sweet finish and crispy skin that melted in your mouth. Another favourite was the Fang Fang Style Paneer that is beautifully soft and is accompanied by a mixture of vegetables and cashews &#8211; delicious.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-141183 size-full lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/07\/Fang-Fang-new-restaurant-LKF-Tower-Central-Hong-Kong-Asian-food-bar-seabass-e1501493503752.jpg\" alt=\"Fang Fang new restaurant LKF Tower Central Hong Kong bar seabass\" width=\"900\" height=\"775\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 900px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 900\/775;\"><\/p>\n<p>The carnivores at the table unanimously decided that the Jasmine Tea Smoked Ribs were a winner, along with the Fang Fang Roasted Duck, which comes out whole for you to view before being sliced and rolled up into pancakes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-141185 size-full lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/static.thehoneycombers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/07\/Fang-Fang-new-restaurant-Central-Hong-Kong-bar-Asian-food-Private-Room-1-e1501493366481.jpg\" alt=\"Fang Fang new restaurant LKF Tower Central Hong Kong bar Asian food Private Room\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 900px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 900\/600;\"><\/p>\n<p>I will definitely hit up Fang Fang again for the tasty cocktails, and it&#8217;s rumoured that they will be having regular live jazz music nights to help you wash them down with.
