We were thrilled to discover the Dorsett Wanchai, Hong Kong, which seriously kicks butt on Hong Kong hotel value.<\/p>\n

What’s it like at Dorsett Wanchai Hong Kong?<\/h3>\n

This Hong Kong hotel located in the funky Wan Chai<\/a> neighbourhood and overlooking Happy Valley racecourse, is a fun and playful place, unlike any other 4-star hotel. The decor is rather whimsical, with pastel colours, cute bird motifs and bird themed d\u00e9cor throughout.<\/p>\n

Did someone say \u2018Free Drinks\u2019?<\/p>\n

We loved the Dorsett Wine Hour, which happens every Friday night \u2013 where the hotel shouts all the guests free white and red wine and local snacks. \u00a0Now that\u2019s true hospitality.<\/p>\n

The Ocean Park Famiy Suite captures all the fun of the amusement park<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

With four different theme suites \u2013 Ocean Park Family Suite, Sony 4k 3D Entertainment Suite, Jockey Suite (thanks to the proximity to Happy Valley Racecourse) and Osim Massage Suite \u2013 there is something for everyone, and they also have a candy bar in the lobby, which was a hit with the kids (but hey, no surprises there!). <\/p>\n

And the best bit? \u00a0The rooms are a good size and at very reasonable rates too. \u00a0Double thumbs up!<\/p>\n
