Pololi Vibesday: 19 August, 2017
Pololi Vibesday sees poke chain Pololi partnering with The Vibe Tribe on 19 August, 2017 to bring the ultimate eco-conscious event to Ovolo Southside. The event is a fundraiser to help our seas, with 10% of all proceeds going to the Plastic Oceans Foundation.
Yoga, conscious cinema, tasty poke bowls and more!
Tickets to Pololi Vibesday cost $125 and include entry to the event plus access to the one of the activities happening during the day, with activities including yoga, conscious cinema and the chance to taste some delicious poke from Pololi.
The event kicks off at 2:30pm with an art jamming class, where participants can unleash their creativity and work on an art piece themed around the ocean. At 4:00pm, an interactive ukulele class will be held, allowing you to get your groove on before hitting the 5:30pm yoga class. Led by Cristina McLauchlan, founder of The Vibe tribe, the class will stretch your body and heal your soul and yoga mats will be provided.
Then, at 7:00pm, A Plastic Ocean – a documentary that follows a team of experts on their four-year journey to see how our oceans are polluted with plastic, will be screened.
Throughout the day, Pololi will be serving its famous poke bowls, made from sustainable seafood and a selection of Hawaiian BBQ. And the team at Ovolo Southside’s rooftop bar Above will be pouring both non-alcoholic and boozy beverages throughout the day, for your drinking pleasure.
Be sure to get your tickets to this eco-conscious event ASAP, and if you can’t make it, you can still donate via the ticketing website.
