What can we say? We are in love with Veda. Nestled inside Ovolo Central, this spot is a haven for vegetarians, offering a stellar menu of contemporary Indian dishes. Rich in flavour, the plant-forward menu is minimally processed and evolves seasonally. What’s even better, Veda gives back to the Earth by minimising kitchen waste and using sustainable practices and materials whenever possible.

3. Treehouse

Tired of going to burger joints just to order the same old impossible meat burger? Most vegetarians couldn’t care less about meat-impersonation, and at Treehouse you can happily indulge in a true veggie delight when it comes to burgers. These guys are fully loaded with veggies other than your usual shroom. You can also personalise your own grain bowls and sourdough flatbreads to mix and match and fit your taste.
Psst – Treehouse has expanded to CWB in July 2023, with its new branch right next to Time Square. Make sure to try the all-new Spruce Pho Soup, plus a lemonade drink and a sweet ginger bite to complete your meal. You can also order takeaway via Foodpanda for extra convenience!
Treehouse has locations in Central and Causeway Bay.
4. Three Virtues Vegetarian Restaurant
You know the happy feeling when you know you can go all-out on every dish on the menu? It’s unparalleled at Three Virtues! The Buddhist restaurant does meat impersonation and also just full veggie dishes, the vegetarian dumplings (only available for lunch) are a must try, you won’t even think it’s not shrimp. We’re also guilty of ordering more than one plate of their chicken satay and braised bean curd sheet rolls. And did we mention the affordable price range? A total win!

10. Woodlands

If you want a totally different take on vegetarian food, Indian cuisine is the one! Woodlands is the first Indian vegetarian restaurant to be established in Hong Kong and while similar counterparts are chain franchises, Woodlands is a stand-alone Hong Kong favourite. The rava masala dosa is a lot bigger than you think but worry not, one person alone can typically finish it. For an authentic and filling meal, we recommend going for one of the thalis on the menu.
